Job summary

Actalent in Burbank, CA is seeking a Project Engineer for Aerospace Sensors to oversee design, validation, and delivery of pressure and temperature sensing products. You will lead development from concept through qualification and production release, interfacing with customers, engineers, and supply chain in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on engineering and project management, with strong knowledge of aerospace standards and documentation such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; aerospace focus preferred.
• AS9100 procedures knowledge helpful.
• Familiar with aerospace standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of pressure and temperature sensors from concept to production release.
• Plan and manage engineering projects including milestones, budgets, resources, and risk.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to meet milestones.
• Review requirements to define inputs and create traceability matrices.
• Drive design reviews (PDR/CDR) and APQP/PPAP activities.
