Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sensor Systems Engineer in Los Angeles to own sensor products from concept through qualification and production.

You will drive architecture trade studies, oversee verification and qualification campaigns, and close loop with failure investigations to sharpen future designs. In this role you will collaborate with structures, thermal, optics, avionics, software, GNC, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated sensor solutions while balancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related engineering field.
• Hands-on experience developing, prototyping, integrating, or testing multidisciplinary systems.
• Demonstrated hardware, project, or product ownership experience.
• Strong understanding of test engineering fundamentals and methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable researching and creating clean-sheet subsystem architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own sensor products through full development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Lead verification, validation, and test campaigns; develop test plans and reports.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop integrated sensor solutions and drive risk tradeoffs.
