Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s repair station EHRO – East Hartford Repair Operations seeks a Repair Process Engineer for the development engineering team. The role involves managing long-term projects and daily shop floor support, coordinating with hourly workers and multiple departments.

The position emphasizes process improvement, data analysis, root-cause investigations, and seamless production integration to support advanced engine programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree with 6+ months in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Military, Aftermarket or Aviation; OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in relevant industry; OR Associate's degree with 4+ years in relevant industry.
• 1+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is required

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process issues as they come up.
• Develop, refine, and document processes to improve quality, repeatability, and throughput.
• Work closely with inspectors, operators, quality engineers, and other cross-functional partners to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to understand trends and recommend changes.
• Participate in root-cause investigations and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new product introductions and process changes, ensuring smooth integration into production.
