Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Regulatory & Corporate Compliance Counsel to provide legal oversight for regulatory and corporate compliance across contracts, supply chain, and programs. You will translate complex requirements into practical procedures, work with engineering and mission teams, and guide risk-based decisions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience in regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Experience advising businesses on complex regulatory requirements and translating them into practical guidance.
• Experience developing or overseeing corporate compliance programs.
• Experience working with senior leadership and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary legal advisor on regulatory and corporate compliance matters affecting the Company’s operations and contracts.
• Monitor and interpret federal, state, and international laws and enforcement developments (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, etc.).
• Assess risk and provide practical, risk-based advice aligning with business objectives.
• Establish governance, policies, controls, and documentation for compliance areas.
• Embed regulatory requirements into operating procedures and programs with clear accountability.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and regulatory advisors when appropriate.
• Support ESG, security, privacy, and government property compliance initiatives.
