The role collaborates with Engineering, Programs, Mission Operations, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Security to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical procedures within a fast-paced aerospace and government-contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience in regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, or a highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor on regulatory and corporate compliance matters affecting operations, programs, products, and services.
• Monitor federal, state, and international laws and enforcement developments (FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, etc.).
• Assess risk and provide practical, risk-based guidance that supports business objectives while maintaining compliance.
• Establish governance, policies, controls, and documentation requirements for assigned compliance areas.
• Collaborate with engineering, programs, supply chain, contracts, finance, and other teams to embed compliance into operating procedures.
• Assist with regulatory filings, audits, investigations, and remediation.
