Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an ID&C Software Developer supporting the TOS II contract at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, TN. You will work as a key member of an integrated engineering team responsible for the hands-on design, development, optimization, and real-time data distribution of software systems in aeropropulsion, wind tunnel, and Hypersonics facilities.

This includes creating and managing high-speed data stream processing software in an aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years in software development with experience in design, coding, testing, and Git version control.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; DoD security requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust real-time applications using C/C++ and Python.
• Define, parse, and optimize custom binary and serialized network data packet structures for high-frequency data streams.
• Implement and configure DDS with TCP/IP and UDP sockets for publish-subscribe data systems with QoS constraints.
• Develop, debug, and scale low-latency data ingestion pipelines for storage, archiving, and real-time visualization.
• Collaborate with instrumentation, control, and electrical engineers to integrate software with hardware.
