Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Quality Technician to support quality functions, RMAs, and investigations. You will assist with disposition, customer communication, and data analysis to ensure product quality and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years of applicable experience, or an associate degree in a technical field with 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Equivalent education and experience acceptable
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs, and documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Data3 software
• Must pass an annual eye exam

Responsibilities

• Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMAs
• Product review and assist QE with disposition, containment, and work orders
• Communicate with customers via phone and email
• Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data
• Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards and quality procedures manual
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs, and documents
• Determine rework and process work orders
• Review of rejection trends and proactive problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with quote and order processing
