Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect conformity, support DMIR activities, and assist in process improvements. You will work with engineers and inspectors to ensure compliant parts meet specifications and standards.

Training on CMM and FAIRs is provided as needed. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and willingness to perform audits under ITAR controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments and basic quality roles.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
• Experience or training in process auditing and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products and processes against drawings, samples and inspection specs.
• Coordinate measurement machine programming support and back up inspection duties.
• Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports as needed.
• Perform internal audits and create checklists for compliance with standards.
• Identify defective components and ensure traceability and correct disposition.
• Debrief management on inspection results and propose improvements.
