Job summary

Radius Aerospace seeks a Quality Engineer in Chandler, AZ to support the Quality Manager, drive QMS implementation per AS9100, and maintain NADCAP and customer requirements. You’ll handle audits, MRB dispositions, and review FAIRs while coordinating with suppliers and customers in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires a technical degree with 2+ years of related experience, strong drawing interpretation, and MS Office proficiency. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field and 2+ years' related experience.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102.
• Experience with NADCAP.
• Experience with major Aerospace OEMs (Rolls-Royce, GE Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell).
• US citizenship requirement.

Responsibilities

• Train and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100.
• Hands-on product quality and Quality Metrics Database management.
• Write procedures and MRB dispositions for Incoming and WIP materials.
• Maintain NADCAP certifications.
• Coordinate customer quality requirements for new product launches and interface with suppliers/customers.
• Coordinate handling of audit findings and RCCA/improvement plans.
• Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB and Internal Auditing Team.
• Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Read and interpret customer material, drawings and process specifications.
• Report to work on time and follow supervisor instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
