Radius Aerospace, Inc. in Chandler, AZ seeks a Quality Engineer to support our Quality Manager by defining acceptance criteria and ensuring compliance with the QMS.

You will oversee internal and external audits and maintain positive relationships with customers in the aerospace and recuperator manufacturing space. The role covers inspection techniques including CMM, FPI, and other dimensional methods as part of our fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Competenze

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field with 2+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102.
• Experience with NADCAP in aerospace manufacturing.
• Familiarity with major aerospace OEMs (Rolls-Royce, GE, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Mansioni

• Train and implement the Quality Management System per AS9100.
• Handle hands-on product quality and maintain Quality Metrics database.
• Write procedures and MRB disposition for incoming and WIP materials.
• Maintain NADCAP process approvals and audits.
• Coordinate customer quality requirements for new product launches.
• Interface with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Analyze non-conformance trends and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in MRB disposition for returns and non-conformances.
• Participate in internal auditing teams and review FAIR documents.
• Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Read customer drawings and process specifications; ensure conformance.
• Support attendance and adherence to work rules and schedules.
