Job summary

Radius Aerospace in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Manager. The role focuses on QMS implementation per AS9100, quality metrics, and MRB dispositions for incoming and WIP materials.

Responsibilities include coordinating customer quality requirements for new product launches, internal audits, RCCA actions, and review of FAIRs, with a strong emphasis on aerospace supplier compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102.
• Experience with NADCAP and aerospace OEMs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Train and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100.
• Hands-on product quality and Quality Metrics Database management.
• Write procedures and MRB disposition for incoming and WIP materials.
• Maintain NADCAP certifications and process approvals.
• Coordinate customer quality requirements for new product launches.
• Interface with suppliers/customers and manage audit findings and RCCA actions.
• Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
