Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Santa Isabel, PR location. You will inspect parts, assemblies, materials, tooling, and instruments to ensure conformance with design data, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and operations to maintain product integrity and support FAA safety expectations. The position requires interpreting engineering documentation, performing routine inspections, and documenting

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience.
• SAP knowledge required.
• No disciplinary actions in the last 5 years.
• U.S. citizenship required to access program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, work instruction sheets, and standards.
• Perform basic random audits of all assembly processes, procedures, and products.
• Work closely with supervisors and/or engineering to improve processes or report major or critical inspection issues.
• Examine materials and sub-assemblies daily and reject product using procedures, specifications and drawings.
• Prepare QN and Reword Record Work documentation of non-conformities.
• Make decisions based on established criteria and stop the process when necessary.
• Identify and suggest improvements in inspection plans and processes.
• Participate in RRCA processes at Quality Clinic (CPS).
• Manage special inspection processes.
