Innova Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Quality Systems Specialist for a 12+ month contract at Joint Base Charleston, SC. The role centers on quality assurance, nonconformance handling, and ensuring compliance with QMS and government requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA, ability to read blueprints and specs, and experience with aircraft maintenance/repair. This W-2 position offers $40–$45 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• 3+ years' experience detecting hazardous working conditions and safety problems.

Responsabilités

• Review and validate product nonconformance and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
• Analyze to verify compliance with Quality Management System requirements and contract/government regulations.
• Review production plans to ensure quality requirements are embedded in the plans.
• May involve rotating shifts.
• Must pass GOP and air respirator medical physicals and maintain qualification/certification.
• Ensure modification plans are complete and credentials are current.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Aerospace Quality Systems Specialist.

Position type: Full-time, Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Joint Base Charleston, SC

As a(n) Aerospace Quality Systems Specialist you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Reviews and validates product nonconformance and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
• Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to verify or validate compliance with Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
• Reviews production plans to ensure quality requirements are imbedded into the production plans.
• Some positions may also be rotating shifts
• Must be able to pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals and maintain qualification/certification
• Ensure Modification plans complete. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years' experience in having the ability to read, understand, and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical specifications
• 3+ years' experience in detecting hazardous working conditions and safety problems via a regular check of equipment and work area
• 3+ Aircraft Maintenance Experience
• 3+ Aircraft Repair Experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years Quality Assurance
• 3+ years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices
• Ability to read interpreting blueprints and drawings

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: Between $40 per hour-$45 per hour
