Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in McKinney, TX is seeking an Operations Quality Engineer to align cross-functional teams on RCCA implementation and top priorities, ensuring containment and corrective actions across product lines.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) and/or Advanced Product Quality Planning (AS9145).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Improve product design and reduce inspections using data analyses.
• Audit products and processes for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate resolution of nonconforming material with Engineering and Production Control.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause and corrective action activities (RCCA).
• Manage material, hardware, and incident reporting.
• Use MS Office for documentation and reporting.
