Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics Manufacturing in Bristol, Rhode Island, is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Manager responsible for the overall Quality Control across all products and for directing the Quality Control team. This role serves as the main contact for customer-related quality issues from NPI through completion and reports to the President.

Qualified candidates will have 7–10 years in quality leadership, AS9100 experience, and strong GD&T skills, with experience in ISO/NADCAP compliance

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or Statistics preferred.
• 7–10 years in a direct management role in Quality Engineering or Quality Control required.
• AS9100 Aerospace quality experience required.
• Experience addressing customer complaints and working with customers required.
• ISO, AS and NADCAP Compliance and Certification experience required.
• Lean/Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) with proven business impact preferred.
• Strong GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection activity for products in NPI and production cycles.
• Manage all customer contact regarding quality issues.
• Investigate and resolve customer quality issues using root-cause analysis.
• Develop containment actions and corrective actions.
• Lead MRB meetings and act as Chief Inspector.
• Update ISO work instructions as needed.
• Supervise Quality Team to ensure productivity and integrity.
• Integrate process control data into final inspection plans.
• Prepare monthly management reports on quality issues, trends and losses.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
