Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, Rhode Island is seeking an Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead all quality activities for our products, directing QC personnel and ensuring parts meet customer specifications from NPI to shipment.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of quality leadership in aerospace, AS9100/NADCAP experience, and proven use of root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement to raise product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing quality engineering teams in aerospace.
• Directly handles customer quality issues.
• Experience with ISO, AS, NADCAP.
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.
• Lean/Six Sigma certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection activity for products from NPI to production.
• Manage customer contact for quality issues.
• Investigate and correct customer quality problems using root-cause analysis.
• Determine containment actions and corrective actions.
• Communicate findings to management and customers.
• Lead MRB meetings and act as Chief Inspector.
• Prepare for internal and external audits.
• Ensure vendor quality of purchased parts/materials.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100 and related standards.
• Mentor Quality Team and drive improvements.
