Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED Aerospace division seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Strategic Quality Plan and oversee quality assurance across manufacturing operations in Middlesex, NC. This onsite leadership role focuses on customer requirements, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include coordinating internal audits, improving quality systems for new products, and guiding cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of one (1) year Manager of People experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and performing quality audits.
• Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated experience using problem solving & Six Sigma statistical tools (including A3, 8D, Problem Definition, Data Collection, Brainstorming, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, Error Proofing, Variation Analysis, SPC, MSA, and DOE).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, execution and deployment of the Strategic Quality Plan with plant leadership.
• Manage quality assurance resources to ensure product flow to standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Provide total quality leadership to customers, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement activities in targeted areas.
• Oversee internal audits and AS9100/AS7112/ISO14001 compliance.
• Interface with external auditors and customers to ensure quality.
• Guide development and implementation of Quality Management Systems for new products and processes.
