Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED Aerospace division is seeking a Quality Manager for our Middlesex, NC facility. This role reports onsite Monday through Friday and oversees quality systems, audits, and customer interfaces to meet aerospace standards.

Applicants should bring a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in quality engineering, and leadership experience. ITAR and US work authorization are required. Relocation assistance is available for qualified US residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of one year Manager of People experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience with quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and performing quality audits.
• Minimum of one year of demonstrated experience using problem solving & Six Sigma statistical tools (including A3, 8D, Problem Definition, Data Collection, Brainstorming, 5 Whys, Fishbone, Cause & Effect, Error Proofing, Variation Analysis, SPC, MSA, and DOE).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship; ITAR compliant.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality / customer interface to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied.
• Guide the development, implementation, and improvement of Quality Management Systems throughout the operation.
• Ensure preparation and maintenance of internal qualifications and audits such as AS 9100 and Nadcap.
• Monitor and maintain quality procedures and work instructions to comply with AS9100 C/D, AS7112, and ISO14001.
• Administer internal audit function to maintain AS9100 C/D, AS7112 and ISO14001.
• Act as liaison with third-party auditors and customer auditors.
• Lead or participate in auditing internal Quality Systems and documentation for new/modified products.
