Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc is seeking a Quality Operations Manager in Kinston, NC to ensure manufacturing processes meet aerospace standards and customer expectations. You will drive quality assurance, lead continuous improvement, and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 10+ years in regulated aerospace quality, CQE/CQA or ASQ certification, and willingness to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• CQE/CQA or ASQ certification preferred.
• 10+ years in regulated aerospace/defense quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, EASA across production lifecycle.
• Lead Six Sigma/Lean initiatives to reduce defects and improve quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to integrate quality into design and production.
• Train and mentor quality teams to foster accountability, safety and development.
• Conduct audits and inspections and manage CAPA activities.
