Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Woburn, MA seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and compliance for aerospace/defense products. You will direct the QMS, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement across a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Process Engineering, Production, and cross-functional teams to elevate product quality, manage supplier quality, and drive corrective actions while supporting operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (ME/Manufacturing/Quality) required.
• 8+ years progressive experience in quality management.
• 4+ years with AS9100 certification and audits.
• Experience in precision manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site’s QMS in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace standards.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities and QC plans.
• Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits; ensure timely closure of findings.
• Develop and manage supplier quality programs and corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA) for quality issues.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Production, and Engineering during NPI.
• Develop and deliver quality training for employees and mentor the QA team.
• Support EHS initiatives and stay current with industry regulations.
