Safran in Sarasota, FL seeks a Business Unit Quality Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement. The role sits on the site Leadership Team and leads all quality functions to deliver compliant products on schedule.

Responsibilities include defining quality standards, improving the quality system, overseeing inspections and testing, and coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Quality function, aerospace experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years in aerospace design/quality with management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AS/EN 9100 and Part 21 requirements and customer quality expectations.

Mansioni

• Act as customers point of contact for Quality matters and escalations.
• Define and promote the quality mindset across the site.
• Lead quality functions with cross-functional leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule.
• Maintain and improve the quality system to meet internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Lead the QA staff, coach and develop team members, and manage performance.
