Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead quality assurance for a specialized aerospace manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX. You will own AS9100 and FAA quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure products meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Take ownership of audits, corrective actions, and KPI tracking while fostering a culture of proactive quality across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality management or a related quality‑focused role.
• Working understanding of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
• Knowledge of FAA Quality Assurance System requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee the Quality Assurance System to ensure compliance with applicable FAA requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective corrective measures.
• Ensure customer‑specific requirements are properly integrated into manufacturing and quality processes.
• Establish, track, document, and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, policies, and work instructions.
• Lead internal, external, registrar, and customer quality audits.
• Manage customer complaints, quality concerns, and inquiries through timely investigation and resolution.
• Oversee internal and external corrective action processes to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to implement quality procedures and work instructions for new product development.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) to verify product and process conformity.
