Job summary

Interconnect Wiring in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Quality Engineer to oversee ISO/AS9100 compliance, audits, and certification packages in aerospace manufacturing. You will manage source inspections, DD250 reviews, and lead corrective actions with a focus on quality conformance.

The role requires AS9100/AS9102 experience, RCCA knowledge, and the ability to train lead auditors, while maintaining a positive, safety-focused work environment on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry.
• Experience with AS9100 and AS9102; served as Management Representative or Lead Auditor for external audits with registration bodies.
• Experience managing and performing internal and external audits per AS9100.
• Knowledge of RCCA for internal and external quality issues.
• Knowledge of quality assurance approaches and tools, including strategic planning and project management.
• Experience with ISO/AS9100 implementation and documentation.
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive employee-friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Approve and sign certifications of conformance.
• Maintain ISO/AS9100 registration; act as Management Representative for registration bodies.
• Serve as Point of Contact for source inspections.
• Oversee FAI and certification packages; review and present to source inspectors.
• Inspect completed DD250s.
• Schedule, perform and review internal and external audits.
• Train and oversee Lead Auditors.
• Resolve customer returns and act as backup inspector.
• Initiate and track corrective action requests; conduct RCCA on issues.
• Review quality non-conformance reports.
• Generate and review procedures, instructions and forms.
• Collaborate with management to ensure company-wide quality system compliance.
