Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Manager in Marlborough, MA to own and drive the AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS, lead internal and external audits, and ensure alignment with aerospace and defense requirements. The role partners with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver top-quality products while managing supplier quality and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in QA leadership within aerospace/defense, AS9100 experience, and Lead Auditor credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related technical field.
• 10+ years QA/Quality experience in aerospace/defense with leadership.
• 5+ years AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 experience; Lead Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS and lead audits.
• Serve as primary QA representative for customers, program reviews, and contract requirements.
• Lead nonconformance, failure, root cause, and corrective action investigations.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing to ensure aerospace quality requirements are met.
• Manage quality metrics, supplier quality requirements, documentation, and improvements.
• Support facility safety audits and EHS initiatives.
