Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor to oversee QC Inspectors and quality staff at our Sylmar, CA facility. You will ensure product and process quality align with internal, customer, and regulatory standards, including AS9100 and FAA requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement, investigate non-conformances, and support audit readiness, reporting to the Quality Manager on onsite operations.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in quality assurance.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC Inspectors, technicians, and quality staff.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and documentation.
• Monitor quality through inspections, tests, and audits.
• Lead RCA/CAPA for non-conformances.
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain.
