Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, business administration, production/operations management or related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of quality engineering-related experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of formal people management experience.
• Experience training new and existing employees.
• Preferred experience in Aerospace/ Automotive Manufacturing; AS9100/AS9102 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises a team of Quality Control Technicians.
• Supports Quality Assurance with root cause analysis of failed parts and documentation.
• Support companywide compliance to ISO 9001 & AS9100 QMS.
• Facilitate team member process improvement suggestions using problem solving methods.
• Subject Matter Expert on End Item Acceptance - Delegated Source process for customers.
• Coordinate activities for Non-Conformance Reporting and Material Review Board.
