Job summary

Textron is seeking a Summer Intern in Fort Worth, TX to support quality development and manufacturing projects. You will analyze processes for capability and failure modes, and help develop corrective actions under quality engineering management.

The role requires pursuing a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree with at least 60 credits completed by June 2027, and a 10-week commitment from June 1 to August 6, 2027. Strong analytical and CAD/CAM skills are desired.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027).
• Able to complete the full 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027.
• GPA 3.0 minimum; undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support quality development, process improvement, and manufacturing project management.
• Analyze processes to determine manufacturing capability and failure modes.
• Develop and validate corrective actions; assist design requirements analysis for new QC processes.
