Job summary

Textron Aviation is offering a summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in quality systems and regulatory oversight. You'll support quality improvements across production areas and related functions, work onsite for ten weeks from late May to early August, and gain exposure to audits, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Eligible students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering will develop professional skills through

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management to handle multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise quality systems and procedures as directed by management.
• Conduct Government and FAA audits and report corrective actions.
• Analyze scrap, rejections, defects, and rework data to support improvements.
• Perform process or product audits in production or with suppliers.
