ITT Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections on aerospace-grade components. You will review travelers, inspection sheets, discrepancy sheets, and approved replacement parts to ensure airworthy quality.

You will use SAP for inventory transactions, document results in Excel and SAP, and write non-conformances when required. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with 3 years of technical industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of measuring equipment – calipers, micrometer, optical measurement equipment
• Blueprint reading with GD&T, test specifications
• SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge
• Lift up to 35lbs unassisted, stand for extended periods, bend, lift, reach and squat
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook
• Able to speak, read, and understand English; clear verbal communication
• Experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) use and other inspection related documentation as required
• Must be able to interpret data from CMM
• Military, industry automotive or aerospace standards experience. Spacecraft component and sub-systems experience.
• Work experience in an organization with AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified
• This position requires US Citizenship due to the visibility of NO FORN projects

• Perform Inspection on all products within a timely manner
• Determine product conformance or non-conformance to drawings
• Use SAP to transact product to inventory or to MRB
• Write non-conformances for product that is not acceptable to requirements
• Detailed review of product against requirements
• Document results in Excel and SAP
