Job summary

Thermal Structures, Inc. in Corona, CA is seeking a Quality/Receiving Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace and industrial components to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience performing dimensional inspections on precision machined components.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow inspection procedures and documentation requirements.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first article (FAI), and final inspections of aerospace and industrial parts and assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceability records.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming material in accordance with company procedures.
• Generate and support completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102.
• Verify material certifications and documentation for compliance.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Communicate inspection results and quality concerns to production and quality engineering teams.
