Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector on 2nd shift to perform detailed inspections of machined parts and ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.

You will use precision measuring tools, maintain records, and participate in calibration and nondestructive testing as needed. Strong blueprint reading and math skills are essential; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years related inspection, calibration or NDT experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer specifications and internal drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and certifications per specs.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration of parts.
• Identify defective conditions and document calibration history.
• Perform inspection on detailed machined parts using measuring/test equipment.
• Interpret specifications, charts and manuals and apply tolerances.
