Parker Aerospace in Ogden, Utah, seeks a Quality Inspector to perform complex inspection tasks on aerospace components during swing shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00 pm to 1:30 am). You will use a range of measuring tools and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires blueprint reading, interpretation of specifications, and the ability to develop custom inspection setups. Collaboration with supervision and occasional customer/government inspectors is part of the job.

Qualificações

• Zero to five years related inspection experience.
• Repair and Overhaul (14 CFR Part 145) experience a plus.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, customer's specifications and internal drawings.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and communication skills.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00 pm to 1:30 am)

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and certifications.
• Perform inspection on complex parts using a wide variety of measuring and test equipment.
• Interpret specifications, charts, manuals, and other data to arrive at acceptance or rejection.
• Layout all component part characteristics onto rough or semi-machined castings, forgings and machine parts to maintain control of machining cycle.
• Make own gaging set-ups on surface plate using block, parallels, clamps, sine plates and V-blocks to take readings with precision measuring instruments.
• Assist customer/government source inspectors as necessary.
