Job summary

RTX is seeking an Inspection Technician IV in Colorado Springs to join our Aerospace Specialty Seating Systems team. You will inspect top and lower level assemblies, use precision tools, and report findings to ensure parts meet drawings and specifications.

The role involves interpreting blueprints, leveraging the MRP system, and contributing to design feedback while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• First Article Inspection experience – AS9102.
• Intermediate Excel application data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Inspect top level and lower level assemblies and materials for conformance to drawings or customer specs.
• Use mechanical inspection tools and gauges as needed for inspection operations.
• Report non-conformances using the Non-conforming Material Reporting system.
• Inspect products, samples, materials, and parts for conformity to blueprints and standards.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection with centralized team.
• Ensure safety and adherence to Collins quality procedures.
