Job summary

Sierra Space in Colorado is seeking an experienced Technical Quality Assurance Inspector IV to perform expert inspections of manufacturing goods during and after production. You will interpret complex prints and diagrams, approve or reject assemblies, and drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include mentoring Level I-III inspectors, drafting SOPs, and supporting audits while maintaining NASA/IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Completion of NASA and IPC industry standard certifications.
• Advanced GD&T training.
• Advanced understanding of technical schematics and documents.
• Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs.
• Proficient with MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level inspections of manufacturing goods during and at the end of processes.
• Interpret complex prints, diagrams, wire cards to approve or reject assemblies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products.
• Mentor Level I-III inspectors and provide technical guidance.
• Draft work instructions and SOPs; support audits and continuous improvement.
