Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for 1st shift at our MRO Commercial Engine Center in Florida. The role involves performing functional checks on engine assembly and components, using power and mechanical tools, and inspecting parts to drawings and procedures.

The Inspector will accept or refer material for rework based on findings, operate fixed/variable measuring instruments, and document results while following defined work instructions and quality controls.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional checks on engine assembly and components using a variety of tools.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections per procedures and drawings.
• Accept or reject material based on findings and document results.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Utilize fixed/variable measuring instruments and automated measuring machines.
• Record measurements and perform required calculations for nonconformance.
