Dexter Magnetic Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector 2 to inspect aerospace components across production phases and report gaps in the Quality Management System. You will read gauges, apply GD&T, and document results using Excel.

You will perform detailed inspections with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other instruments, ensuring conformance to specifications and maintaining calibration records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years’ experience reading gauges and inspection instruments to determine conformance.
• Must read, interpret and calculate GD&T dimensions to verify part tolerance.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring conformance with specifications and first articles.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators and other instruments to measure dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect materials, components and finished products for defects or non-conformance.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation of results.
• Ensure measurement equipment is calibrated and functioning within tolerances.
• Assist with calibration activities and ensure tools are within standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Identify areas for process improvements to enhance quality control systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Document inspection results and analyze data in Excel and other Office apps.
