Axelon Services Corporation is seeking an experienced PCB inspector for on-site work in the Los Angeles area. The role involves visual and mechanical inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies to IPC A-610 standards using microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aerospace electronics inspection experience.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and BOMs.
• Proficiency with inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies according to IPC A 610 standards.
• Use microscopes, magnifiers, and measurement instruments to verify component placement, solder joints, polarity, labeling, and workmanship quality.
• Inspect both through-hole and surface mount assemblies at incoming, in-process, and final stages.
• Identify defects, document nonconformances, and communicate issues clearly to production and engineering teams.
• Review work orders, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing instructions to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Complete inspection records, reports, and logs accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure ESD-safe handling practices and follow all safety guidelines.
