ApTask is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Quality Inspector in the Los Angeles area to perform in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies per IPC A610 standards. You will review paperwork, generate inspection reports, and verify component placement using microscopes and precision tools.

The role requires 2–3+ years of inspection experience, IPC A610 knowledge, and strong attention to detail. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA 90039 and adhere to ITAR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related experience in electronic assembly inspection.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility (90039).
• ITAR compliance: U.S. person required.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of PCB assemblies per IPC A610 standards.
• Use microscopes, magnifiers, and measurement instruments to verify placement and solder joints.
• Inspect both through-hole and surface mount assemblies at incoming, in process, and final stages.
• Identify defects, document nonconformances, and communicate issues to production and engineering teams.
• Review work orders, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing instructions to ensure compliance.
• Complete inspection records, reports, and logs per company procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure ESD-safe handling and follow safety guidelines.
