Job summary

Rubbercraft seeks a QC Inspector 2 (1st Shift) in Long Beach, CA, to perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections. The role requires aerospace inspection experience, strong blueprint reading, and proficiency with standard inspection equipment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM PST, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities include creating reports on quality issues, conducting tests with various inspection tools, analyzing data to reduce scrap, and ensuring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4+ years of inspection experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain reports highlighting key quality issues.
• Develop and perform tests using inspection equipment, including vision systems.
• Support data collection and analysis to identify root causes and improve in-process inspection acceptance rates.
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Review and sign certifications; maintain inspection records.
