Job summary

Rubbercraft in Long Beach, CA is seeking a QC Inspector 2 (1st Shift) to perform receiving, in-process, final, and first article inspections on aerospace components. The ideal candidate has aerospace inspection experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with standard inspection tools and vision systems.

This full-time role requires Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime on weekdays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4+ years of aerospace inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Experience with D1-4426 and AS9102 in inspection contexts.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with departmental teams to create and maintain reports highlighting key quality issues requiring action.
• Develop and perform specialized tests and measurements using inspection equipment, including vision systems.
• Support collection and analysis of quality data to identify root causes, reduce scrap, and improve in-process inspection acceptance rates.
• Perform receiving inspection for purchased and customer-supplied products.
• Perform in-process inspections as required.
• Perform final inspection including verifying documentation and certifications.
