Job summary

RTCA is a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group with decades of hands-on machining experience. The Quality Inspector II-III performs inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with drawings, customer specs, and AS9100/ISO standards in a precision shop.

Working onsite in Chatsworth, you will use precision tools, interpret drawings, and document results while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support quality objectives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace/precision manufacturing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Proficiency with standard inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, assemblies and finished components per drawings and specs.
• Interpret ASME Y14.5 GD&T and blueprints to ensure conformance.
• Verify calibration status and proper handling of tools and equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
• Support audits and continuous improvement activities.
