Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AA or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of QA inspection experience in aerospace or related field.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and blueprints to determine requirements.
• Proficiency with basic inspection tools and GD&T.
• AS9100 production environment experience preferred; AS9102 and NetInspect knowledge beneficial.
• Ability to interface with customers and senior management; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Determine inspection method, plan sequence, and select inspection tools.
• Perform first article, incoming, in-process, and final inspections on airframe components.
• Certify acceptability, monitor processes, and document results.
• Prepare shipping data packages and maintain history files.
• Coordinate with MRB, engineering, and customer representatives for disposition.
• Supervise QC Inspectors I and ensure compliance with specs and standards.
