Job summary

The AIRO Group in Phoenix is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies. You will generate FIRST ARTICLE reports, read blueprints, and ensure conformance to AS9100/ISO9001 requirements using Net Inspect and specified inspection tools.

Qualifications include 3+ years in aerospace inspection, J-STD-001/IPC-A-610/620 preferred, GD&T and blueprint reading, and strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience in inspection or aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and customer specifications.
• Experience with FAIR processes and Net Inspect software.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical documents and translate requirements to hardware.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Coordinate with vendors to address quality issues.
• Maintain and audit quality records and documentation.
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T characteristics.
• Train operators on QA procedures.
