Job summary

AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. Quality Technician performs in-process and final inspections, verifying production documentation and identifying nonconformances using precision measuring tools.

The role relies on strong blueprint interpretation and First Article Inspections per AS9102 with in-house systems such as Inspection Expert and Net-Inspect. Responsibilities include tracking drawings and PO requirements, conducting internal process audits, interfacing with customers and inspectors, and

Qualifications

• Preference for J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 certifications.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5M and GD&T; coordinate systems X, Y, Z.
• Knowledge of quality systems: ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102.
• Experience with 5S systems.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
• Minimum 2 years in quality inspection or production.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical documents and translate requirements to hardware.
• Communicate quality issues clearly to team members.
• Perform incoming inspections of products, parts, and materials.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Coordinate with vendors to address product quality issues.
• Select measuring tools and understand accuracy vs. precision.
• Prepare Material Review Board (MRB) documentation.
• Enter, scan, and maintain manufacturing and quality records.
• Identify inspection errors and initiate corrective actions.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; interpret critical characteristics.
• Use inspection planning tools for product audits and sampling.
• Assist in training operators on QA/mfg procedures.
• Support internal QA and manufacturing audits.
• Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming material.
