BARNES Aerospace in East Granby, CT is seeking an inspector to perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts, measure features to spec, and interpret blueprints. The role requires 2+ years in aerospace/manufacturing inspection, GD&T knowledge, and experience with gauging and CMMs (PCDMIS/MODUS a plus).

Applicants should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; turbine engine repair inspection experience is highly desirable. High school diploma required; first shift.

Qualificações

• 2+ years inspection experience in aerospace or general manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specs.
• Knowledge of GD&T, gauges, micrometers and borescopes.
• CMM experience with PCDMIS or MODUS is a plus.
• Past turbine engine repair inspection experience is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts.
• Measure features and holes to customer specifications.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspection using gauging and measuring equipment.
• Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet requirements.
• Ensure inspected parts meet criteria and complete required paperwork.
