Qualifications

• 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment
• Dimensional and visual inspection experience in aerospace
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, repair manuals, and customer specifications
• Working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
• Multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency with CMMs using PCDMIS and/or MODUS (highly desirable)
• Experience performing incoming, in-process, or final inspections in turbine engine repair (highly desirable)

Responsibilities

• Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components
• Measure features and holes to determine conformance to customer requirements
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate gages and measuring equipment
• Interpret operation sheets and blueprints to meet customer criteria
• Ensure all inspected parts meet acceptance criteria; complete required paperwork for any re-work or defects
