Barnes Aerospace is seeking an Inspector, OEM to perform diversified inspections on aircraft parts and learn additional functions. The role requires initiative and the ability to work independently to meet quality standards.

The successful candidate will inspect engine components, read and interpret blueprints and manuals, operate precision measuring equipment, and document compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of related aerospace experience preferred.
• FAA Certified Repairman or A&P mechanic desirable.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming is a differentiator.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

Aufgaben

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on engine components.
• Ensure inspections comply with manuals and technical data.
• Read manuals and data to perform receiving, in-process and final inspections.
• Operate computerized measuring equipment and train other inspectors.
• Document compliance to requirements on organizational, customer and regulatory documents.
• Perform full spectrum dimensional inspections with extremely close tolerances.
• Use dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, gauges, borescopes, pi tapes, etc.
