Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Quality Inspector in East Hartford, CT for a 3-6 month contract. You will inspect and record dimensions of precision machined aerospace components, ensuring conformance to drawings, process sheets, and customer specs.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 5+ years of aerospace quality control experience, with proficiency in micrometers, calipers, gauges, and first article inspection. Experience with GE Aviation or Pratt & Whitney is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• DQR Certification preferred.
• 5+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting machined aerospace components.
• Familiarity with first article inspection (FAI).
• Ability to perform full layout inspection.

Responsibilities

• Visual and dimensional inspection per process sheets and reports.
• Verify conformance of process and material certifications.
• Interpret customer requirements and verify contract drawings.
• Communicate findings with responsible engineer and data.
• Process non-conformance and DMR transactions in EPICOR.
• Perform related duties as required.
