Barnes Aerospace is seeking an Inspector, CRO to perform diversified inspection duties on aircraft parts. You will read manuals, operate measuring equipment, and maintain quality against established standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include dimensional inspection, documentation, and compliance with FAA/DOT rules. A high attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential for success in this safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience, preferably in aerospace environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communication skills.
• FAA Certified Repairman or Aircraft Mechanic highly desirable.
• Proficiency in measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming is a differentiator.
• Good mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections on engine components.
• Ensure detailed quality inspection is in compliance with manuals and data.
• Read and understand engine manuals and manuals/technical data for inspection activities.
• Operate computerized measuring equipment and assist other inspectors.
• Document compliance to requirements on internal, customer, and regulatory documents.
• Perform full spectrum of dimensional inspections with extremely close tolerances.
