Job summary

Eaton Aerospace Group located in Los Angeles, CA (near Glendale metro) has an opening for a Quality Control Inspector B. The LA facility has approximately 400 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.

Reports to the Supervisor of Final Inspection. Responsible for in-process and/or outbound dimensional and visual inspections using tools such as calipers,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Los Angeles, CA facility (90039).
• U.S. person due to export regulations.
• FAA environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace sub-assemblies and assemblies visually and dimensionally.
• Review and accept paperwork and documentation for product acceptance.
• Produce inspection reports to accept or reject products.
• Use measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gages).
• Understand GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and basic AQL concepts.
